Vulvar Skin Conditions

Service Description

We care for patients with a wide range of vulvar skin conditions. These conditions often cause itching, burning, pain, or a sensation of raw skin, and are frequently related to inflammation, infections, or underlying skin disorders. Common issues we see include lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, vulvar dermatitis (eczema), and infections such as yeast (candida). When needed, we perform vulvar biopsies to help diagnose conditions like lichen sclerosus and VIN at Connection Medical Clinic in Hamilton, Ontario.
